Do borders merely separate nations and divide cities? Or do they limit our knowledge as well?
In this book, we aim to tell our children—in simple, engaging language—about the three cities sacred to Muslims: Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and Jerusalem (Al-Quds). We pray that the Almighty grants our children the opportunity to understand the immense significance of these three cities, so that they may never forsake them and never cease dreaming of visiting them one day.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Journeys should not be undertaken except to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid Al-Haram), my Mosque (Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi), and Al-Aqsa Mosque."
