تسلط القصة الضوء على مشاعر المحبة التي يكنّها الطفل لمعلمته وعن شعوره بافتقاد المدرسة بسبب مرضه وغيابه عنها.

تبين القصة بطريقة عفوية مشاعر الطفل التي يعبر عنها من خلال وصفه للمعلمة وسرده لبعض الأنشطة التي تقوم بها المعلمة في الصف وتجعله أكثر حبًّا وتعلّقًا بالمدرسة.

My teacher is Nasma.. as gentle as a breeze. She treats me with kindness and affection. I love her lessons... I love her stories. I love her smile. How I love my teacher Nasma!

The story is all about a child's feelings of love for his teacher and his feeling of missing school because of his illness and absence from school. Through fun, short rhyming sentences the child narrates some of the activities that the teacher does in the class which makes him love and attached to the school.
